Ed Sheeran secretly buys £1m farm with ‘incredible man cave’ a stone’s throw from his Sheeranville estate

FRESH from wrapping up the highest-grossing tour of his career, Ed Sheeran is splashing the cash on another Sheeranville estate near his home in Suffolk.

I can exclusively reveal that the Azizam singer has bought a £1million farm a stone’s throw from his country pile and is busy turning it something just as impressive.

A source said of Ed, who grossed £650million from his Mathematics tour: “He is very wise with his money and he’s decided to create another Sheeranville close to where he lives.

“He bought a Grade II-listed farmhouse and all the land it sits on and is making it another home from home. It’s likely he’ll do all his entertaining there and can make it into a place where he works on new music.

“The land has loads of barns on it, which Ed is busy converting.

“One of them is being used as a recording studio.

“There was also a piggery, which Ed has turned into the most incredible man cave. It’s got a bar, a gym, a pool table and a bowling alley, which is something he’s always wanted.

“There’s another barn which he is considering turning into a rehearsal space too, and there’s loads of room upstairs for an office and a library.

“He’s been really careful to restore some of the fields and gardens too, where he can grow veg. There’s an outside kitchen being put in too for entertaining. His first estate is home for Ed and this second place is like a paradise he can have fun in.”

Earlier this year, the singer said his wife Cherry, who is mum to his two daughters, had vetoed him building a bowling alley at their home.

‘Bowling alley’

He said: “I wanted to build a bowling alley in our back garden, but Cherry said no. She knew we didn’t need that.

“She doesn’t want our kids growing up in the Richie Rich house where there’s McDonald’s in our back garden.”

Luckily for Ed, any other plans that get a no from the missus at home can now just be shifted down the road.

Tate’s too hot to handle

TATE McRAE was back on stage at the iHeartRadio festival at the weekend after her killer set at the MTV VMA’s earlier this month.

She nailed her set with flames and pyrotechnics going off around her as she performed hit songs including Sports Car and Revolving Door.

Chief diva Mariah Carey was also on the bill for the event in Las Vegas.

The gig was the perfect warm up for Mariah, who will kick off her Christmastime In Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live on November 28.

On Friday she will release her new album, Here For It All, and next week will be hoping to knock Ed Sheeran’s Play off the No1 spot.

I have no doubt he will be battling to hold onto that position for at least another week or so.

PATSY A PILGRIM

EASTENDERS star Patsy Kensit and Cold Feet actress Hermione Norris have signed up for the next series of BBC show Pilgrimage.

The show will see the pair join celebrities on a spiritual journey while walking ancient routes.

A source said: “Hermione is a huge name for the BBC and when she got offered the chance to join Pilgrimage she was keen.

“It will give her an amazing opportunity to explore herself, as well as taking on new challenges.”

The show is also a major comeback for Patsy, who was forced to pull out of Channel 4’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins earlier this year after injuring herself in training.

My insider explained: “Patsy was gutted when she had to quit SAS but there was no way she could take part with her injury. Then the BBC came along with Pilgrimage and it was perfect. It means she can still get a taste of adventure without having to throw herself out of a helicopter or be interrogated.

“The pair are filming now and are having a ball.”

We revealed earlier this year how poor Patsy had been forced out of SAS after hurting herself in the gym.

At the time, a pal said: “Patsy had been running at pace on a treadmill while wearing a weighted backpack as part of her intense training regime.

“The added weight caused her to lose balance and fall backwards off the machine, bruising her arm and shoulder in the process. She even flew out to Morocco, where the filming was taking place, but production soon spotted the injury and she was sent home.”

The adventure begins now.

RAPPER Drake rocked a pair of funky Chanel lederhosen as he necked beer with his pals at Oktoberfest in Munich.

The Canadian star looked the part in his traditional German breeches as he partied at the boozy annual event.

He had been in the city on his Some Special Shows 4 U world tour and joked on stage about sampling local tipples.

Holding up a stein, he told the crowd: “I’m not drinking this whole thing. If I drink this whole thing, it’s going to be a completely different show.

“That’s the most I’m drinking. Otherwise, you’re going to be asking for a refund.”

Drake will play his final two shows tonight and tomorrow in Hamburg before the tour wraps up.

Now that’s worth raising a pint to.

MEL’S SPICE THERAPY

WHEN you’re a pop star, there’s fame, money and more free clothes than you can shake a stick at.

But Mel C has admitted that being part of the Spice Girls wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

In fact, she had such a hard time she needed a shrink to help her work through her issues.

Mel said: “I think it takes a long time [to recover], because you’re in it and you’re processing it and, in a way, recovering from it.

“I call those days Spice Mania, from 1996 all the way through when we toured, that crazy time. We were hardly at home, we hardly slept, we hardly saw family and friends, we were just in that bubble, that Spice Girls bubble, it was insane.

“When that slows down and a couple of the girls have babies and I went off and did the solo record, you have to reintegrate yourself into society as you’ve been pulled out of it, because it’s really disorientating.

“For a human being it’s a very strange thing to go through but enough time passes where you can really appreciate it. There’s been lots of emotions and lots of therapy, as well.

“You do need a bit of help processing about what it means and who you are.”

RISING star Karin Ann got a big hand from celeb pal Suki Waterhouse on her new single.

She recently dropped tune I Was Never Yours, on which model, singer and actress Suki is credited – for clapping.

They wrote the song together and clearly Suki wanted to feature on the recording too, in her own little way.

I’m always available if any other stars want me to put my hands together for them.
