EASTENDERS has revealed the real identity of the person terrorising Zoe Slater at long last – and she’s a very familiar face.
The BBC soap has been teasing the identity of the individual stalking Zoe for months with viewers growing tired of the seemingly endless mystery.
However in the Christmas Eve episode of the show, the identity of the person who was physically doing all the acts was revealed – as was the person behind the plot entirely.
And she’s a very familiar face.
In the episode Kat became desperate to find out who it was and savagely confronted Sam Mitchell.
However with Sam consumed with her own battle with breast cancer, Kat realised it wasn’t her.

Later Zoe discovered a card in the living room addressed to her with her keyring from Ibiza that she left in the hospital.
It was a card, apparently from her son, reading: “Dear mum, it’s me your son. I can’t believe that I’ve finally found you.”
The card said that he was desperate to meet her and to get to know her.
It said he would be visiting on Christmas Day and would introduce himself then – and Zoe was elated.
She told her mum: “I’ve just got this feeling we’re going to have a really great Christmas.”
However there was a sting in the tail when Jasmine’s actions were revealed to viewers.
She was shown leaving blood in the Vic, spraying the warning on the barrel door store and leaving the card.
In the closing minutes of the episode the identity of Zoe’s stalker was revealed to viewers as Jasmine climbed into a car.
I’ve done everything that you asked but I’ve changed my mind, I don’t think she deserves this,” said Jasmine.
“Oh believe me, she does,” she replied Chrissie Watts.
She added: “We’re going to give her a Christmas she’ll never forget.”
Actress Tracy-Ann Oberman has reprised her role for the short stint, more than a year after making her original comeback almost 20 years on from her first appearance.
Chrissie was seen in prison with Sharon Watts before eventually making peace, before reuniting with Jake Moon and driving off for a new life outside of jail.
