EAMONN Holmes appeared to accidentally nod off while presenting live television this morning.
The legendary host looked like he was dozing during an interview on GB News with Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, Darren Jones MP.
It comes days after the 66-year-old opened up about his “horrendous” health battle.
Our clip shows the moment Eamonn is seen fiddling with his mic pack before zoning out with his eyes shut during the breakfast show.
After a few seconds he lifts his head and continues to tinker with the sound kit before going on his phone.
Meanwhile the MP continued to be grilled by Eamonn’s co-host Ellie Costello over an investigation into Labour’s former British ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson and his links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Insiders at GB News told The Sun it was the latest incident to cause staff worry over Eamonn’s health.
“It hasn’t gone unnoticed that Eamonn has been struggling a lot more lately,” our source said.
“Today he was falling asleep on air and slurring his words. There were lots of messages coming in about it.”
Earlier in the programme, viewers voiced their concern over the TV presenter’s “slurring” while presenting the three and a half hour breakfast show.
One said: “Please help Eamonn Holmes. He’s obviously struggling, falling asleep this morning. Slurring his words. The guy needs medical assistance!!”
Another wrote: “Is Eamonn Holmes ok? Should someone not take him off air and get him seen to? He seems unwell.”
A viewer said: “I’m the first to criticise Eamonn Holmes but l feel he’s obviously increased his medication and should not be presenting this morning. Difficult situation l appreciate.”
Another asked: “Why is Eamonn Holmes basically falling asleep on air? He looks either off his face or just so tired he can’t stay awake!
“It’s actually quite disturbing to watch! Poor Ellie next to him! Get him off air!”
Someone else added: “Help Eamonn Holmes. The man is falling asleep on GB News this morning !! This is quite cruel.”
While another viewer wrote: “Concerned Eamonn Holmes seems more slurry than usual.”
The Sun has reached out to GB News for comment.
Eamonn has been suffering with chronic pain since 2021.
It was caused by a dislocated pelvis, which later resulted in him sustaining three slipped disks.
While recovering from surgery, the ex-This Morning presenter fell down the stairs at his home in Weybridge and broke his shoulder.
He needed further operations in 2023 and has since been reliant on using a wheelchair.
Eamonn’s ex-wife Ruth Langsford previously admitted she was uneasy when it came to the amount of medication needed to relieve his pain.
Speaking on the Session 7 podcast last week, Eamonn said: “I’m sick. I’m in a wheelchair. That’s been horrendous to deal with for two years.
“Certainly I don’t think TV wants to know you when, I mean there’s nothing – you and I are talking and no one can tell there’s anything wrong, but I can’t get up.”
He added: “I need help getting out of this chair. I have to have carers throughout the day but once I’m sitting down… I can do everything.”
