EAMONN Holmes showed that, once again, he isn’t one to hold back in a new rant about TV hosts who secretly don’t get along.
The GB News presenter, 66, scathingly described the industry as “pathetic and woke”.
Eamonn, who previously fronted This Morning with ex-wife Ruth Langsford, shared his opinions on mainstream TV while appearing on the Founder Family Collective podcast, hosted by his son, Declan.
He began: “Where television is today and the wokism that comes with it, it’s just pathetic.
“We just get a whole raft of presenters,” said Eamonn, who then imitated other presenters.
“‘Lovely to see you, we love each other – which of course we don’t in real life,’ but that’s the way it goes,” he said, seemingly slamming presenters for pretending to get along on-screen.

Eamonn then went on to praise broadcasters such as Piers Morgan, Jeremy Kyle and Jeremy Clarkson.
Complaining that daytime television don’t want to “take the risk” on good presenters such as these, Eamonn said: “TV don’t want Piers Morgan, they don’t want Jeremy Kyle, they don’t want Jeremy Clarkson.
“But these are the people that bring the ratings. these are the people who are relevant.
“A lot of executives don’t want to take the risk on that.”
Despite spending years on ITV, Eamonn now hosts the GB News Breakfast show alongside Ellie Costello, where he doesn’t hold back on sharing his unfiltered opinions.
However, something that has cast a dark cloud over Eamonn’s new career turn is that the star has been plagued with health issues in recent years.
The broadcaster was left in lots of pain after falling onto his bathroom floor at home in May, and was rushed to hospital.
He is often seen out in a wheelchair or on crutches and has struggled with his mobility for the last few years as he battles intense back pain.
His chronic condition began unexpectedly in 2021 and soon he was unable to walk without a stick to help him.
The pain was caused by a dislocated pelvis, which later resulted in him sustaining three slipped disks.
While recovering from surgery, he fell down the stairs at his home in Weybridge and broke his shoulder.
A further spine and neck procedure in 2023 did little to alleviate Eamonn’s pain.
