Eagles fail to score against Cypriot minnows again as pressure builds on Glasner

Crystal Palace failed to capitalise on their dominance against AEK Larnaca as they drew 0-0 in their Conference League last-16 first leg tie.

The South London side were in total control at Selhurst Park but will kick themselves for not taking advantage ahead of the second leg.

Larnaca had keeper Zlatan Alomerovic to thank after making a handful of top saves.

The Cypriot minnows – who beat Palace 1-0 in October – were barely in the contest despite their draw and failed to have a shot on target throughout.

Jean-Philippe Mateta was introduced late on and had a chance before poking straight at Alomerovic from close range.
