EAGLE-EYED darts fans spotted Michael Smith’s cheeky background as the former World Darts Championship winner shared a video of his nasty injury.
Smith, 35, has endured a torrid darts season after being forced to deal with wrist, shoulder and foot issues alongside his arthritis.

The ace fell out of the top 16-ranked players in the world.
And it resulted in him missing out on huge events including the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and Premier League.
But Smith is working his way back to fitness and impressed with a quarter-final finish at the Grand Slam of Darts.
He is now preparing to face Lisa Ashton in the opening round of the World Darts Championship.
Smith is no stranger to Ally Pally’s big stage, having won the tournament in 2023 against Michael van Gerwen.
He showed off his preparations on social media with a video clip showing him throwing darts at home.
Smith also revealed a large object strapped to his ankle, with Bully Boy visibly limping while collecting his darts on each throw.
He declared: “Won’t stop me doing what I love.”

However, fans were left amused by his cheeky homage to 2023’s WDC win.
Underneath the darts board, Smith immortalised the moment he became champion with a cut-out of the score against Van Gerwen.
Supporters were thrilled to see that Bully Boy still has his winning instinct, with many hoping for a comeback show this month.
One said: “Background goes hard.”
Another declared: “Still one of the best players to watch.”
One noted: “Let’s go champ.”
Another added: “Always been a fighter, stay strong.”
