OLYMPIC hero Adam Peaty’s wedding to Holly Ramsay was thrown into further turmoil last night after it emerged his bridesmaid sister is engaged to a drug-dealer.
Bethany Peaty is the only family member invited to next month’s lavish ceremony after a bitter rift — and The Sun can reveal she is set to attend with fiancé Dan Rogerson.
The 37-year-old was jailed for a year in 2017 for carrying cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply.
He joined the swimmer’s stag trip to Hungarian capital Budapest, where he rubbed shoulders with Holly’s TV chef dad Gordon.
The Sun told last week how Peaty, 30, and his pals got a police escort when they returned to Manchester airport due to threatening text messages allegedly sent by his brother James, 34.
He was arrested and remains on police bail.
The huge spat has seen mum Caroline — who guided the swimmer to three golds — told she is not welcome at the Bath Abbey ceremony on December 27.
Other relatives are believed to be boycotting it in support of her.
Derby crown court heard it was at least Rogerson’s second drug offence. Rogerson — seen in an orange hoodie in his police mugshot — had also breached a suspended sentence.
A family insider said: “Adam and Holly know all about Dan’s past. He used to be a nasty piece of work but hopefully time has helped him change.
“He went on the stag-do. Adam’s dad Mark was invited too but decided not to go and during that weekend he and Caroline were looking after their grandson.”
They went on: “Bethany’s had her head turned by her brother’s celebrity world, and she and Dan enjoy all the glitz and glamour.
“Adam is forgiving of them, but he isn’t forgiving of his own decent, law-abiding mum.”
Rogerson and Bethany, 32, who have two children, live in Derby, a half hour’s drive from Adam’s luxury home in Kegworth, Leics.
Bethany was at 25-year-old Holly’s Cotswolds hen night along with guests including Holly’s mum Tana and Victoria Beckham.
The Sun first told of the wedding crisis two weeks ago, when Caroline posted on Instagam: “Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can’t explain how broken your heart is.”
Adam’s agent was contacted for comment.
