DRIVERS have only a matter of hours to claim 3p off every litre of fuel through a major supermarket.
The penny-saving deal was offered by the stores for Christmas, so anyone purchasing food and fuel for the holidays received a little gift.

Asda Express stores feature a petrol station, as well as a limited array of goodies.
With a purchase of £15 or more in-store, drivers can receive 3p off every litre of petrol they put in their car.
However, the deal is set to end tomorrow.
The discount is available to shoppers across all of Asda’s 488 Express stores, so if your car needs filling up you need to act fast.
The shops are open from 6am to 11pm every day, with Asda matching the price of their everyday essentials – including bread, milk, chicken fillets and cheese, with its larger stores.
The festive offer follows Chancellor Rachel Reeves‘ announcement last month declaring that fuel duty would remain frozen for a 15th year.
This means that prices won’t rise with inflation, but the temporary 5p cut will only remain in place until September, after which prices will slowly rise again.
To claim the offer, you need to purchase items in an Asda Express store before paying for your fuel.
Upon paying for your groceries, money will automatically be knocked off anything you used at the fuel pump.
Speaking on the savings when the deal was first announced before Christmas, Joseph Sutton, Vice President Asda Express, foodservice and fuel, said: “We know every penny matters for our customers.
“This offer gives people a little extra help – letting them save on fuel while offering unbeatable value as they stock up on everyday essentials or festive treats in the run-up to Christmas.”
