A DRIVER who killed an e-bike rider by ramming him with her car has been jailed for life.
Zoe Treadwell, 38, sped at up to 75mph chasing Joey Johnstone, 28, in her Range Rover at 2am.
He was thrown from his bike, suffered a head injury and died at the scene in April.
Weeks later, Treadwell’s ex-lover Joshua Lovell, 33, and pillion passenger Free Jenkins, 30, were badly hurt when their e-bike was struck by a Citroen car driven by Jonjay Harrison, 25.
Winchester crown court heard there was a feud between Treadwell and Mr Lovell’s associates and she had orchestrated the attack on him.
Treadwell, of Bournemouth, was convicted of murder and attempted murder and got a minimum of 35 years in jail.
Harrison got 32 years for attempted murder.
Neither of the defendants visibly reacted when their long sentences were passed down by the judge.
When they were sent back down to the cells, Treadwell appeared to say “Cheers”.
After sentencing, Kate Lewis, Senior District Crown Prosecutor said: “These acts represent an appalling disregard for human life.
“On two separate occasions, a car was used as a weapon against three men, acts that were not accidents but intentional attempts to kill.
“Tragically, one of these attacks resulted in the loss of a young life, causing immeasurable pain to loved ones and the wider community.”
