SHOCKING pictures of Rob Reiner’s son being arrested have been released after he was charged over the double murder of his parents.
Nick, 32, was forced to the ground and handcuffed as he was put in the back of a police car by armed officers in Los Angeles.
Nick was detained near a Metro station just 15 miles away from his parent’s Brentwood mansion where they were found dead on Sunday afternoon.
The youngest son of the When Harry Met Sally director Rob, 78, and wife Michele, 68, had reportedly been staying at The Pierside Santa Monica motel.
Staff alerted the LAPD after claiming to have discovered a disturbing trail of blood inside his room.
Nick was arrested by the LAPD’s robbery homicide division with the help of US Marshals.
He was taken down to the local station and hit with murder charges over the death of his mother and father.
He is now reportedly being held without bail in Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.

The LAPD Gang and Narcotics Unit posted the arrest images on Monday before deleting them a short time later.
In the caption, the unit identified the man as “a double homicide suspect”.
Hours before Nick’s shocking arrest, younger sister Romy had discovered their parents in their Hollywood home with their throats allegedly slashed.
A disturbing 911 call captured the moment dispatchers begged for help after discovering the bodies of the legendary director and his producer wife.
Sources claimed to The U.S. Sun that Nick was spotted getting into a fight with his parents at a party on Saturday night.
The party was being hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien, according to TMZ.
The clash is believed to have continued overnight into the family’s home, sources said.
Investigations into the murder of the Hollywood super couple are ongoing with several chilling details emerging about the family.
Nick has stayed out of the spotlight since he opened up about his struggles with drug addiction and homelessness in 2016.
He admitted to being in and out of rehab at a young age and said his addiction issues even led him to being homeless at one point in his life, according to People.
“When I was out there, I could’ve died. It’s all luck. You roll the dice and you hope you make it,” Nick said.
Nick and his dad were spotted in public regularly in 2015, as they combined forces to create the semi-autobiographical film Hey Charlie.
The movie centered around the entitled, drug-addicted son of a renowned actor who was trying his hand at politics.
At the time, Reiner described struggling to deal with painful memories as he explored the topic with his son.
“It was very, very hard going through it the first time, with these painful and difficult highs and lows,” the beloved director told the outlet then.
“And then making the movie dredged it all up again.”
