The US president said he will put tariffs of 10 per cent on all goods imported into the US from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Finland – unless he is allowed to buy Greenland.

The tariffs will come into effect on February 1 and will rise to a huge 25 per cent if he still does not have his hands on the artic island by June.
