FEARS are growing for a pensioner who has been missing since Friday after his boat was found empty washed up on the UK coast.
Police are growing increasingly worried about missing 75-year-old David Fretwell after his boat, was found washed ashore three days ago.
His boat, the “Green Goddess” was spotted washed up on the beach near Hayle in West Cornwall.
It is believed he travelled by boat along the North Cornwall coast, passing Padstow and Newquay, before reaching the St Ives area on March 4.
David is described as a white man with a slim build, around 5ft 7in tall, with short grey hair.
Devon and Cornwall police are appealing for information as they continue their investigation.
A spokesperson said: “If you have seen David, or know of their whereabouts, please call police immediately on 999, quoting log number 247 06/03/26.”
