IF DEREK CHISORA had any lingering doubts about his retirement status, his wife Emily stepped in to quell them.
The iconic British boxer lost to Deontay Wilder on Saturday in his fiftieth professional bout.

The 42-year-old announced ahead of the fight that it would be his last.
But there seemed to be a hint of hesitation about confirming that status when Chisora was asked about his retirement after the fight.
When asked how he felt about his retirement when looking back at his illustrious career, Chisora was slow to answer.
He then glanced at his wife off camera and cracked a wry smile and a chuckle.
He introduced her and said: “The boss lady is right here.”
She smiled back at him, but made it clear that she did not want to see him in the ring again.
She said simply: “Last fight.”
Chisora took it in good spirits, replying first to Emily and then to DAZN presenter Ade Oladipo: “Last fight? Last fight she says.”

Chisora certainly made the most of the event, with his final ring walk being among the most memorable of his career.
He did not make it easy for Wilder, who carried his own scars away from the fight.
But despite Chisora’s hopes of bowing out by dragging himself and the American into retirement with a shock win, the Bronze Bomber wasted no time in lining up another bout.
Wilder, 40, called out Anthony Joshua to his face on his way out of the arena, with a view to finally put together a superfight more than a decade in the making.
