DEREK CHISORA reckons Tyson Fury is the biggest threat to Fabio Wardley’s undisputed shot at Oleksandr Usyk.
The 30-year-old Ipswich icon pulled off an incredible comeback TKO of Joseph Parker last weekend, making him the No1 challenger for the Ukraine king.

But, just as his celebrations started, the Gypsy King was doing hard sparring rounds, raising suspicion again that his latest retirement will be short-lived.
The WBO have ordered the undefeated 38-year-old southpaw to negotiate a deal with the Suffolk puncher or risk being stripped of their belt.
And promoter Frank Warren – who also guided Fury and Daniel Dubois into Usyk defeats – is confident of dealing with Team Usyk again and getting a spring 2026 UK showdown with Wardley sorted.
But 41-year-old Chisora – a close friend and former opponent of Fury and Usyk – revealed a bigger-money plot could scupper Wardley’s fairytale.
“I don’t believe he’ll get the fight,” the popular veteran told SunSport about Wardley‘s hard-earned crack at immortality.
“Usyk’s teams will ask for so much money and he already got so much for fighting Fury twice in Saudi before.
“Then he got paid loads of money again to come to the UK to fight Daniel Dubois. The last time I spoke to Usyk, he told me he wants ‘big money’.
“And Tyson wants to come back and fight Usyk. The Gypsy King is coming back.”

Fury spent last week sparring at his Morecambe gym, doing tough rounds with Leicester banger Mark Ahondjo.
And – such is the boxing business – an unnecessary Usyk trilogy, with the loudmouth 6ft 9in Netflix star who is already 2-0 down, would generate more money than a Wardley bout.
Because 33-year-old former world champ Parker was ahead on two cards and level on the third, and some fans feel the stoppage was premature – so there are calls for a rematch.
And Chisora, in the process of planning his own 50th professional fight, thinks he has a way to keep everyone paid and happy.
He explained: “Parker and Wardley should do the rematch and then pay Usyk to drop the belt. He did it before for AJ [Anthony Joshua] and Daniel Dubois.
“And then he comes back and fights the winner at Tottenham or Wembley, Bob’s your uncle.”
