JOHN FURY has come out against a tipped return to the ring for his legendary heavyweight son Tyson.
The 37-year-old retired in January after suffering back to back losses to Ukrainian rival Oleksandr Usyk.

In recent months the ‘Gypsy King’ has been seeding hints of a return to the professional boxing scene.
But he seemed to stamp out that momentum last week when he claimed that even £1Billion could not tempt him out of retirement.
And following Fabio Wardley‘s shocking victory over Joseph Parker on Sunday, his father’s comments certainly supported those claims.
John Fury told iFL TV: “No, I don’t want him to return. I don’t want to see him like Joe Parker tonight, because sadly, that’s what happens. Father Time creeps up on you,”
“Tyson has not been his best since the [Deontay] Wilder. The trilogy with Wilder done Wilder completely, and took a lot out of Tyson.”
“Usyk fought Tyson at the right time, and he still never beat Tyson when he was in three wars with an animal. You talk about a concussion. He had it. He come back, and there was an argument for Usyk both times.
“But if he wants to fight him again, I say, leave it go, because you got to get a knockout to win. The people around him don’t have the intelligence for him to beat Usyk.”
Fury was not entirely dismissive of the idea that his son could make a return to the ring.

He admitted that Tyson would love another shot at Usyk, despite their previous encounters.
The 38-year-old followed up his consecutive victories over Fury by knocking out Daniel Dubois at Wembley in July.
He now seems set to face Wardley after the Brit’s statement win, but who knows what the future might bring in the hotly contested division.
“The fight he really wants is another go with Mr. Usyk, he really wants that.
“He’s a fighting man and if he decides that he’s going to move forward and do it, he’ll do it. He’s not a stupid guy who’s clutching at straws. He’ll only fight if he feels he can do it.”
