David Beckham enjoyed a slap-up lunch at a down-to-earth local Parisian restaurant on Wednesday – as his son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz bragged about a recent lavish trip away and dinner where they shared snaps of a £17,000 bottle of wine.
The former footballer, 50, headed to La Petite Chaise in the French capital amid fashion week and dined on €28 hand-cut tartare and €8 fries.
It comes after Brooklyn – who hit out at his family last week in an astonishing statement – headed to the swanky San Ysidro Ranch hotel over the weekend for a stay with Nicola.
In contrast to David’s reasonably priced lunch, Nicola and Brooklyn’s stay was much more over the top. At the accommodation, rooms range from £2,245 to as much as £9,069 a night.
For David’s lunch he also enjoyed some lamb chops, a €15 soup and a beef tenderloin with a creamy sauce for €45 as he praised the food while sharing snaps on his Instagram Story.
It appears David is regular at the eatery as its Instagram page shows a pinned snap of him with one of the staff there.

Meanwhile across the pond Brooklyn and Nicola shared snaps of the world’s most expensive wine, at £17,000 a bottle, over the weekend.
The cooking influencer publicly confirmed his relationship with parents David and Victoria is over in a six-page statement packed with lurid details, released across social media last Monday.
And he was clearly happy to let the dust settle with actress wife Nicola during a stay at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s favourite hotel – San Ysidro Ranch in the heart of the Sussexes’ Montecito stomping ground.
While the estranged Beckham family attended Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris – where Victoria was made a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters on Monday evening – Brooklyn and Nicola enjoyed some time away at the luxury venue, where rooms range from £2,245 to as much as £9,069 a night.
Taking to Instagram, the couple gave followers a glimpse at their no-expense-spared trip to the Californian retreat – including sharing snaps of the rare and incredibly pricey table wine. It is not clear if they drank the wine but did share images of the dusty bottles.
Described as an ‘extremely rare and historic vintage’, the 1831 Château d’Yquem could set you back an average $23,000 (£16,687) a bottle, with prices typically driven by demand at auction due to its scarcity.
One bottle of the hard-to-find wine previously sold at auction in 2011 for an astonishing £75,000 – thought to be the largest sum ever spent on a single bottle.

On Tuesday, Brooklyn had two dusty bottles of the almost impossible to find wine at his disposal as he settled down to a boozy, romantic dinner with his wife and their pet dog, Lamb.
Not that money is an issue, with Nicola, 31, understood to be in receipt of a rather substantial $1million a month allowance from her billionaire father, Nelson Peltz.
The staggering allowance is in stark contrast to the financial support her husband was thought to receive from his own parents, both millionaires through respective careers in football and fashion.
While his name may not be as well known in pop culture as the Beckhams, Nelson Peltz’s wealth eclipses that of his co-parents-in-law, with the businessman boasting a stunning net worth of $1.6billion, in comparison to the Beckhams’ $680million.
Speaking on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, Marina Hyde said: ‘From what I hear I think the Beckhams give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money and they have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent.’
‘Maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this but I hear that he said to them that ‘I give my daughter a million dollar a month allowance’.
‘The one thing they [the Beckhams] didn’t think their children would be doing would be the ones signing the prenuptial, they thought it would be the other way round.’
Nicola and her husband have been enjoying a romantic getaway in Malibu days after he publicly cut ties with his family.
The eldest son of David and Victoria publicly denounced his family last week in a scathing six-page statement where he accused his parents of ‘controlling’ him, trying to ruin his marriage and humiliating him.
While the rest of the Beckhams gathered in Paris this week to support Victoria, 51, as she received a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters, Brooklyn made it clear where his loyalties lie.
Brooklyn shared a video montage of highlights from his trip to Malibu within hours of his family putting on a united front at their first public event since he launched his blistering attack.
Set to Coldplay’s Yellow, Brooklyn declared his love to Nicola once more as he wrote: ‘I love you Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham.’
The couple were joined by their dog Lamb as they walked along Malibu Beach, enjoyed dinners and even had a champagne toast.

The Beckham clan appeared determined not to allow their family drama to overshadow Victoria’s achievement, as she was presented with the prestigious accolade by the French Ministry of Culture on Monday.
The award recognises the individual contributions of artists, writers, and cultural figures to the arts and literature, and previous recipients include Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Jude Law and Denis Villeneuve.
And in her acceptance speech, the Spice Girl made special mention of her children, as she thanked them for ‘always believing in my vision’, despite Brooklyn’s recent vitriolic claims against her.
The addition of Victoria’s name to the Order of Arts and Letters will be the latest significant family event to be snubbed by Brooklyn, whose recent statement confirmed any residual ties with his family have been severed.
The influencer had previously skipped his father’s milestone 50th birthday celebration and the London launch of his mother’s Netflix show.
Perhaps more significantly, both he and Nicola were absent as Beckham – accompanied by Victoria, his own parents and three remaining children – travelled to Windsor Castle for his long awaited investiture on November 4.
The family have maintained a stoic silence since Brooklyn released a damning statement in which he outlined his reasons for cutting ties with his family.
The influencer went as far as to say he has been ‘controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else’ and that since being with his wife Nicola, he has found ‘peace and relief’ after battling crippling anxiety.
He wrote: ‘I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.
‘Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.
‘I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.
‘For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.
‘The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
‘Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.’
He continued: ‘My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.

‘My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.
‘Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.
‘They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated.
‘My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.’
In a further blow, he added: ‘During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me ‘evil’ because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands.
‘Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.
‘The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family’.
‘Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.
‘Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer.
‘My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.
‘In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.
‘She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.
‘We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.
‘My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one.
‘My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.
‘Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad’s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him.
‘He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner.
‘When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all.
‘My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first.

‘Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo op, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.
‘We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family.
‘But the one time my wife asked for my mum’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused.
‘The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life.
‘I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.
‘I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.
‘My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.’
