LUKE WOODHOUSE has revealed the sweet reason while he will miss one major European Tour event for the first time in his career.
The darts ace has been ever-present on the circuit, but will have to miss the event at Sindelfingen which starts on April 17.

Woodhouse, 37, has insisted that he values the events on the European Tour very highly.
He believes that they are very important for keeping rankings high as well as the prize money on offer.
However, he will miss the event in the German city as he will be attending his wife’s 40th birthday.
Speaking to Tugnsten Tales, he said: “I’m going to have to miss one European Tour this year for my wife’s 40th birthday party.
“I’ll make sure I’ll be at every other one of these this year.
“These are so important for the match play and grand play to keep your rankings keep high.
“Last year I didn’t miss a single event.”
“It’s her birthday party and she’s got a million people coming so I’ve got to make sure that I’m there.”

Woodhouse has been hailed by fans for his sweet decision as they reacted on social media.

Woodhouse is currently ranked 21st in the PDC Order of Merit and has earned £720,575 in prize money in his career.
