Darts fans rejoice as legend, 68, appears at Bahrain Masters two years after PDC World Championship retirement

FANS are thrilled to see darts legend Russ Bray return to the big stage.

The iconic referee quit the PDC two years ago following an appearance at the World Darts Championship.

Many fans thought he had retired and quit the sport for good.

But he still remains on the world circuit and was back calling the shots at the Bahrain Darts Masters.

Bray was on stage acting as referee as Luke Humphries beat Bahraini Abdulla Saeed 6-0 for the third time in a row at the tournament.

Most fans had their attention on Bray however and shared their surprise at seeing the veteran.

One reacted saying: “I thought Russ Bray retired from announcing the Darts 🤔 good to have him back.”

Another added: “I thought Russ bray retired? 🤔”

While fans were delighted to see Bray return, many were unhappy at the scoreboard change made by ITV.

Some felt the new design was ugly and there was a delay in the scores being updated.
