MOTORISTS using the Dartford tunnel continue to face severe delays due to emergency repair work following a lorry crash.
Two northbound lanes have been shut since around midday yesterday between Junction 1A of the A206 (Dartford) and Junction 31 of the A1306 (Lakeside).

The left tunnel under the River Thames, taking drivers from Kent into Essex, is expected to remain closed all morning.
National Highways said a lorry that was over the permitted height caused extensive damage on Friday afternoon.
Drivers are being warned to expect delays as repairs continue in the tunnel.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: “A lorry that was over the permissible height entered the left tunnel and in doing so has struck several pieces of equipment resulting in damage.
“The equipment is essential to the safe operation of the tunnel and therefore traffic cannot flow through it until repairs are carried out.”
