We’ve now got a feature fight of the night with Misfits’ first-ever bout under mixed martial arts rules.
Taking part is the controversial Dillon Danis, who faces Warren Spencer for the MMA light-heavyweight title.
It marks Danis’ return to Misfits after his disqualification loss to Logan Paul back in 2023.
‘That was special’
Former world champion Darren Barker was in Joey Essex’s corner for that fight and ahead of the scorecards being read out, told DAZN: “That was incredible. real blood and guts, he showed so much heart, so did his opponent.
“It takes real courage. People say ‘he should’ve done this or done that’ – you do it then, it takes courage.
“It was special to be a part of that, very proud of them both.”
