Danielle Bux sells incredible LA mansion for $5m

DANIELLE Bux has sold her incredible LA home for FIVE million dollars – after completely making it over.

The actress made a massive profit on the house, which she bought in 2016 for a tidy $2m and spent years renovating to a high standard.

Danielle – who shared the West Hollywood property with lawyer husband Nate Grenwald and their daughter Ella – oversaw the entire process with sources telling The Sun she was “very involved”.

The charming property boasts four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in total, complete with an additional garage-turned-guest house that’s perfect for entertaining visitors.

The open-plan space features two living rooms and a decadent monochrome classic country-style kitchen, complete with a pantry and walnut wood island-come-breakfast-bar.

Guests can then exit via steel double doors to a chic, green haven patio space – with a cosy fire pit – that’s decked out with fragrant jasmine plants and dainty fairy lights.

The new owners will also be able to soak up the LA sun and enjoy a dip in the property’s large, luxurious outdoor spa-like pool, that’s further surrounded by an abundance of trees that provide a private, calming oasis to unwind in.

Danielle’s eye for design also extends to the lavish primary suite, with an enviable walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom that’s flooded with natural lighting.

The actress’s former pad is a five minute drive from the famous Melrose Avenue and was snapped up soon after going on the market.

She also owns a British bolthole – a three bedroom chocolate box cottage in the Cotswolds.

After moving to LA eight years ago, she missed home and the British countryside, so splashed out on the 17th century property.

“We live most of the year in the mad metropolis that is Los Angeles and during lockdown, it brought it home to me that I wanted us to be in the UK countryside for some of the year,” she told Ideal Home magazine earlier this year.

“My ideal was to find somewhere close enough to London and to Wales where I grew up, yet a place that was a total antidote to city life.”

Because she couldn’t leave LA in the pandemic, she toured the cottage via FaceTime with the help of a property developer friend in the UK, admitting “it was a little bit scary but also quite fun and knowing it was mine did massively help with the feeling of being cut off from England.”

Originally from Wales, Danielle was married to Gary Lineker between 2006 and 2016, and the pair remained good friends even after they split.
