DANE Bowers has revealed the real reason he split from Katie Price after he banned her from getting her boobs out.
The pair were a couple in the late 90s when she was at the height of her fame as a glamour girl, and he was a pop heartthrob.

Katie first met Dane at the Wild Wild West film premiere in 1999 and, according to her mum Amy, she was “all in from the word go” and “infatuated” with the Another Level star.
They seemed like a match-made in celebrity heaven – the pin-up and the popstar.
But behind closed doors all was not good, with Dane now admitting Katie’s work as a Page 3 model “bothering” him.
This in turn ultimately led to their break-up after two years of dating.
Revealing this was the reason for their split, Dane told The Shizzio Show: “Why it actually ended… was really me being a bit of a d**k in terms of insecurities.
“As our relationship grew, it was like I didn’t like what she was doing. She was a glamour model.”
“And she’d stopped doing Topless.”
He was then asked if that was because of him, to which he replied: “I think so. I mean, I didn’t like it, even though… whatever. And then… obviously, it’s lingerie and whatever else.
“And then we had an argument and she said she’s been asked to do this shoot and it was… I think it was Topless calendar, but I said, ‘You said you’re not going to do that again.’ And she said, ‘Well, I’m going to do it.’
“I said, ‘I’ve told you to do that, then we can’t be together.’
“And she tried to call my bluff. She did it. And I said, ‘Well, no, f**k off’ basically.
“Which was wrong because that was her job. And I knew that was her job.”
Katie previously revealed how their split was one of the “hardest break-ups” she has ever gone through.
Although she has since called Dane the “love of her life, the star once opened up about the heartbreak she felt when they split.

She even said it was worse than her Peter Andre divorce.
“The hardest break-up I ever went through was with Dane Bowers. My heart was literally in bits,” Katie said on her Youtube channel.
“Everyone always thinks my hardest break-up was Pete [Andre] but it wasn’t that it wasn’t a hard break-up, it’s just what came with it with Pete that was hard.
“So definitely Dane broke my heart – literally.”

Katie has also in the past claimed that Dane was unfaithful to her.
Speaking on the Anything Goes with James English podcast last year, she alleged: “He (Dane) cheated on me bad. Oh my God, so bad.”
Katie claimed that Dane was apparently unfaithful with a dancer in Ibiza and there was some footage of the woman talking about Katie.
“So I was trying to get this video and I got it,” she revealed.
“When Dane came back, because we lived together, I said ‘Dane, just sit down, I’ve got something to show you’. I put it on and said, ‘So are you going to f***ing explain that then?’
“And he said ‘Oh no’, you know, denied it. And I just knew.”
