CRYSTAL PALACE have agreed a £43million deal for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen — which will allow Jean-Philippe Mateta to join AC Milan.
Both players underwent medicals today ahead of their moves.
Milan’s £30m offer for Mateta was accepted by Palace after the France international told them he wanted to leave.
Mateta, 28, had attracted interest from Juventus and Nottingham Forest during this transfer window as he pushed to leave Selhurst Park.
The FA Cup winners yesterday revived talks for Strand Larsen and thrashed out a deal, which includes £5m of add-ons.
Wolves rejected Newcastle’s £55m bid for the 25-year-old Norwegian in the summer and also knocked back a £40m offer from Leeds last month.
JSL’s arrival will take the Eagles’ winter window spend to £78m following the £35m capture of forward Brennan Johnson, 24, from Tottenham.
Palace also signed Evann Guessand on loan from Aston Villa with an option to buy in the summer.
But they have raised £20m by selling England defender Marc Guehi, 25, to Manchester City.
Wolves are replacing Strand Larsen and preparing for life in the Championship by snapping up Southampton’s Adam Armstrong for £7m, plus £2m in add-ons.

The 28-year-old was absent from Saints’ squad for Saturday’s 2-0 win at Stoke, although manager Tonda Eckert said that was due to a knock.
Southampton are in talks over a deal for Canada international Cyle Larin as a replacement for 11-goal Armstrong.
Larin, 30, is on loan at Dutch club Feyenoord from Mallorca but has failed to score in eight Eredivisie appearances this season.
Glasgow giants Rangers had agreed a deal to sign Cameron Archer from St Mary’s but Armstrong’s move could see that called off.
