Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel has appeared to take a veiled swipe at Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola, amid reports of growing tension between the Beckham family.
The Brazilian singer, 29, accompanied her boyfriend Cruz, 20, at his father David’s various 50th birthday celebrations. It was exclusively reported over the weekend that their son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, failed to attend any of David’s birthday events, with the reason behind their fallout revealed here by Mail+.
The Beckham’s oldest child has reportedly fallen out with his family, and shunned his father’s parties despite being in London during the celebrations.
But Ms Apostel, who is said to be close to her boyfriend’s mother Victoria, shared a selection of happy snaps, including one of Cruz wielding a knife aimed at Jackie in the playful pic, on Instagram.
The accompanying caption read: ‘i wish you could feel how much love was in the room these days through the phone’.
Beckham, 50, also took to social media to post about her husband’s birthday weekend.

He and Victoria posed in snaps with their other three children Romeo, Cruz and Harper – with Brooklyn notably absent from the fold.
In a caption eerily similar to Nicola’s speaking about family, Victoria said: ‘Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all ❤️ @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven xx.’
While each of her three youngest children were tagged in the caption of the social media photo album, she skipped Brooklyn despite usually writing something along the lines of ‘missing you @brooklynbeckham’ on previous occasions.
David reposted many of his wife’s photos, and, perhaps tellingly, wrote in one caption: ‘I love you all, thank you for making my birthday so memorable,’ also failing to mention his eldest son.
It comes as the Mail revealed this weekend that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola had skipped all of the events hosted by the family, leaving his parents heartbroken over the decision.
A source said: ‘David is heartbroken but putting a brave face on it. Tonight is all about celebration and love, and he is swimming in it.
‘Brooklyn actually informed his parents a while ago that he and his wife, Nicola, would not be attending but, of course, David and Victoria desperately hoped he would change his mind.’
Friends of the Beckhams previously claimed Brooklyn told his parents he would come to David’s big day, and they had also been ‘expecting’ Nicola to turn up.

Yet doubts clearly remained, with a friend saying last month: ‘Both have very much been invited as much-loved members the family. But you never know, Brooklyn and Nicola will do what they want to do.’
Another friend said: ‘It would absolutely destroy David if any fall-outs carry on and become big deals.
‘It would be the best birthday present ever for David to have all of his children and their partners happily having a wonderful time together. That’s what really puts a smile on his face.’
Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s wife Nicola took to Instagram to share an emotional post about ‘core family memories’ on Sunday after missing the celebrations.
The actress, 30, posted about the loss of both of her grandmothers and reflected on the time she had spent with them.
Penning the tribute to Bunny, who died in May 2024 age 95, and Gina, who died in January 2020, Ms Peltz-Beckham wrote: ‘in life we have core memories and this is one of my most favorite days i’ve ever lived.
‘They were my best friends, there wasn’t a day i wasn’t with them. to my nanni and my gina i can’t fathom the thought of not being able to hug you or hear your laugh right now – i just miss you both so much.’
