A CRAZED stalker sent envelopes of money to an ex-Emmerdale star’s house after tracking her address on Google Maps, The Sun can reveal.
Lyle Cook, 39, also posted twisted love letters to Daisy Campbell, who played Amelia Spencer on the ITV1 soap from 2011 until the end of last year.
The actress’s real-life ordeal mirrors a chilling storyline from two years ago, where her character was also targeted by a stalker.
Daisy, 22, reported lunatic Cook to authorities after receiving a string of unwanted gifts and packages at her house between January 2024 and February 2025.
It followed another sinister incident where Cook is alleged to have tried to ask Ms Campbell to meet up with him.
He was subsequently made subject to a stalking protection order.
Cook, of Telford, Shropshire, admitted stalking in September at the town’s magistrates’ court.
JPs gave him a 12-month conditional discharge and fined him £161.
He was also hit with a five-year ban on contacting Ms Campbell, who now runs a pilates studio in Pontefract, Yorks., in any circumstances “directly or indirectly”.
A source told The Sun: “This was very concerning for Daisy, and she was concerned by having someone fixated on her.
“She did the right thing by reporting it, so that the authorities could deal with it accordingly.
“There is a lot of relief that this matter was taken to court.”
Daisy was brutally axed from Emmerdale at the end of last year after producers ran out of storylines for her character.
She had played Amelia since 2011, joining the show’s cast when she was just seven years old.
But she told The Sun how her career was ripped away from her virtually overnight, revealing: “It was so out of the blue. You do just get into a bit of a hole of, oh god, like, ‘Can I do this?’”
“It was weird, because it was so abrupt. I just had a feeling. I always get gut feelings.”
Daisy was written out of the soap after her character decided to move to Leicester and leave the village following her manipulative boyfriend Tom King’s conviction.
Her representative was asked to comment.
