CORRIE star Katie McGlynn is back with former EastEnders actor Max Bowden following their split last year.
The couple had a brief romance while starring together in touring play Murder at Midnight and were pictured snogging in the street.
They split in December, but we can reveal that they have now rekindled their romance with Max, 31, spending time at Katie’s house in Manchester over the last week.
A source said: “Katie and Max had a whirlwind romance last year but sadly things didn’t work out.
“They remained friends and over the last couple weeks decided to give things another go.
“There was a lot of attention on their relationship so they were hoping to keep things private this time around.”
During their relationship the couple were pictured in the street as Max urinated against a wall.
Explaining that the pictures didn’t do wonders for their romance, the source says Katie’s friends and family weren’t convinced on the relationship last time around.
They added: “There were quite a few people around Katie who were telling her that Max wasn’t good for her.
“So when those pictures came out of him urinating against a wall while she looked on, it seemed to show that they were right.
“It’s going to be interesting to see how long their romance will last this time around.”
The Sun has approached Katie’s rep for comment.
Max is best known for playing Ben Mitchell in BBC1 soap EastEnders, while Katie played Sinead Tinker on the Cobbles.
The pair met when they began starring in the play, Murder at Midnight, beginning a romance last October.
However, it was described as a ‘whirlwind’ relationship, which ended just months later.
Before her fling with Max, Katie was in a relationship with Towie star Ricky Rayment.
The couple split last June after two years of dating.
