CORONATION Street star Vicky Myers has been forced to pull out of a special meet and greet event last minute.
Vicky, who plays DS Lisa Swain on the ITV soap, took to her social media to share the disappointing news.
The actress was set to attend FanFusion at the weekend, which is a special immersive fan convention.
But the TV star has now revealed that she and Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick have had to withdraw.
Vicky wrote: “It is with deep regret that due to the organisers breach of contract, myself and Michelle Hardwick are unable to attend the FanFusion event this weekend.
“We are incredibly disappointed, as we were very much looking forward to meeting you all.

“Unfortunately, this is beyond our control.
“Despite numerous attempts to resolve the breach, we are now left with no other option but to withdraw.”
She added: “We would like to send our sincere apologies and our love and best wishes to our loyal fans.
“Please direct all refund enquiries to FanFusion. Vicky.”
Michelle, who plays Vanessa Woodfield in Emmerdale, also shared a similar statement on her Instagram story.
It comes after Vicky left fans stunned after she revealed her “real age” on her milestone birthday.
She told how she was “incredibly grateful” for her gifts and well-wishes as she turned 50.
Loyal Corrie viewers were left taken aback at Vicky’s revelation, with one gushing “you don’t look your age at all!”
It’s a big year on and off screen for Lisa, who is set to marry Carla Connor on the ITV soap this year.
Yet away from the Cobbles, she was eager to share her happy day, posting a picture of a tree against the backdrop of a stunning blue and pink sky tagged with the location “Home Sweet Home”.
Stockport-born Vicky, who has also starred on Ackley Bridge and The Long Shadow, to name a few, wrote a lengthy caption which read: “Hello 50!
“Thank you for the messages, cards, letters, edits and reels, (I still don’t quite know the difference between the two but hey…) and the gifts, oh my goodness, the gifts!!!!
“What do you say when ‘thank you’ just doesn’t quite hit the mark? I’m so incredibly grateful.
“You had me dumbstruck, which is no mean feat. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
Over on X, fans couldn’t quite believe her milestone.
One wrote: “Crikey, you genuinely don’t look 50 I thought Carla had bagged herself a younger woman, I thought you were early 40s (I’m 45 and don’t think you look my age, I don’t look it either, got told ‘but you’re only 30’ in a very sad tone of voice in December) happy birthday and many more.”
A second mused: “50? No, surely not! x”
A third posted: “You’re so special to us fans’ that’s why we love you! You don’t look your age at all! X”
Vicky, who joined Corrie officially in 2024 after first appearing as DS Lisa in 2021, then addressed her fans directly.
