CORONATION Street fans have rejoiced as evil Theo was finally caught out and a Cobble resident issued him a chilling threat.
Over the last few months viewers have been left feeling shocked as they watched the domestic violence on the street.
In tonight’s episode Gary discovered the truth about his friend Theo (James Cartwright), who has been subjecting his partner Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) to abuse for several months.
Earlier this week George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) overheard one of Theo’s abusive tirades directed at Todd when he was using the toilet.
A disgusted George then gathered Todd’s friends tonight to discuss what they could do to help Todd.
Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) then told Gary Windass (Mikey North) who didn’t want to believe the claims at first.
But as the evidence continued to grow an angry Gary saw an anxious Todd heading into the flat and offered to go in with him.
However, Theo didn’t know Gary was there and shouted to Todd: “You never cleaned that bathroom!”
A furious Gary then confronted Theo about his abusive relationship with Todd.
He warned him: “If I find out it’s true. Remember what I did to Noah.”
Theo grinned: “I’d like to see you try.”
Gary replied: “I’m onto you, Theo, we all are.”
But Theo explained that he had his wires crossed and none of it was true.
Gary said: “Well for your sake, I hope so,” before he left the flat.
Fans rushed to social media to rejoice and one wrote: “About time he got a taste of his own medicine!!”
Another said: “Get in there Gary sort him out good and proper!”
A third exclaimed: “It’s about time they bought Gary Windass back, and remembered who he is.”
Another added: “Forgot for a while what Gary is capable of, Theo needs to watch his back.”
A fifth wrote: “Theo should be querying in his boots he doesn’t really know Gary that well and what ha can do.”
While a sixth said: “Yes take him out by the roots Gary!”
“Omg delighted come on Gary,” declared another fan.
While another added: “Love Gary sort him out Gaz can’t wait to see him get what’s coming.”
And another declared: “Finally! I’ve been unable to watch my blood has been boiling…Gary….we all need a Gary!!”
