GEORGIA May Foote has landed a major acting gig after an incredibly tough year.
The former Coronation Street star, 34, lost her beauty business back in June where she spent four years as a nail tech after it burned down in a fire.
She also split up with her husband Kris Evans after two years of marriage.
Reports of the split emerged in early July of this year after Georgia removed any traces of Kris from her social media pages.
She was additionally spotted going out in public without a wedding ring.
Brighter days certainly seem to be ahead though, with Georgia landing a new big role just in time for the festive season.

The Strictly Come Dancing runner up – multi-talented as Georgia is – reposted a photo posted by Norwich Theatre announcing the Christmas pantomime of the year to be Cinderella.
In the post, which is the poster for the panto, a beaming Georgia can be seen standing to the left wearing a green dress with her hands on her hips.
On the repost to her Instagram story, Georgia added nothing but two heart emojis.
“Feast your eyes on this brand-new artwork featuring our incredible principal cast,” Norwich Theatre captioned the post.
“We’re having a ball… and so will you!”
Tickets to the pantomime are now available.
This isn’t the first time Georgia has used her Instagram profile to share news.
When her beauty salon burned down, Georgia shared the tragic news on her Instagram, explaining how she’s lost everything.
“Now as some of you may know I’ve been a nail technician now for the past 4 years alongside my acting.
“Even though as beauticians we can move into a new space, our stock and tools, which we spend years collecting have all gone. We can no longer work.
“My friends and fellow beauticians have to literally start again.”
Georgia’s comments section flooded with condolences and heartfelt wishes at the time of posting.
