COPS have launched a manhunt after a builder was found stabbed to death.
Police were called to a Birmingham property at around 7am this morning.
A man in his 40s was found inside an address on Alum Rock Road with stab wounds.
Paramedics tragically pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
West Midlands Police launched an urgent murder investigation and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed: “We have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed at an address in Alum Rock.
“We were called to a house in Alum Rock Road, Birmingham, just after 7am today following reports of a man being found with stab injuries.
“Sadly, nothing could be done to save him.
“We’re in the early stages of our investigation and a police scene remains in place.
“We’d ask for anyone with information to contact us via 101 and quote log 527 September 5.”
