Thomas married Adrian Sanderson moments after meeting him on the E4 show back in 2022 – but their union ended badly.

In the new snap, the reality star looked at the camera while holding his black top up to display his torso.

He made a peace sign with his other hand and then shared another throwback photo alongside it.

In the throwback, Thomas can be seen in a pink top and cap doing a peace sign.

The MAFS star captioned his post: “No caption needed #healthy #sobriety #wellbeing.”

In April last year, Thomas who has been open about his mental health, said his drug and alcohol addition became out of control at times.

Speaking to psychotherapist Ella McCrystal in 2023, Thomas re-shared a segment of his interview from The New Mind Therapist podcast.

The host asked: “Does the abuse truly ever end?”

Thomas recalled the horrifying moment he was sexually assaulted when he was 16.

The lash technician wrote: “TRIGGER WARNING – my comments are off as I’m currently using my social media as a journal and to keep those updated.

MAFS star sparks concern as they reveal they’re suffering from ‘drug induced psychosis’ amid addiction battle

“I don’t particularly want to interact directly at the moment, but if you or someone you know is an addict that you understand it could be from trauma or it could be from past experience that’s led to the disease.

“I don’t know I’m not a doctor but I know how I feel.

I’d like to give some insight in to my life. It’s all well and good making assumptions because you see happy go lucky and novelty P***** up Tom but in reality, when I’m at home alone that’s not how my life is.

“I’ve secretly drank and used in lots of situations, sometimes from morning until night and it is only when I’ve been completely obliterated or out of it that anyone would have even noticed.

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”

“I could sink a lot of drinks in a very short time and still appear completely sober, sneak off and use and come back.”

Thomas struggled with an addiction to alcohol and drugs following his departure from Married At First Sight.

Adrian branded Thomas a “cruel, unkind bully” after their relationship ended.

Thomas’s spokesman said it resulted in a mental break down and drug induced mental health episode that spilled out publicly at Euston Station.

Thomas accused of harassing and using threatening language towards a woman.

Thomas was arrested and pleaded guilty in Liverpool Knowsley and St Helen’s Magistrates’ court on September 21.

His spokesman claimed at the time: “The authorities failed to recognise the mental crisis Thomas was facing and subsequently charged him with a public order offence.

“Due to his vulnerable state, and embarrassment the following morning, Thomas refused any legal representation and was not fit to declare himself guilty.

“Nevertheless Thomas accepts that witnessing a mental health crisis can be upsetting and further made difficult when you are a fan of the person suffering the episode.”

He was said to be battling withdrawals from antidepressants, along with suffering from Bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD and anxiety.
