Chansiri is out of the country but open to a meeting with Textor.

However, talk of a summit in London this week is unlikely.

Textor sold his shares in Crystal Palace yet now he is the frontman for wealthy backers.

The Championship club are heading for EFL penalty points and could be hit again if they miss another round of wages.

Owls have found it hard to get a buyer.

One American group dropped out because of their potential relegation.

Wednesday fans have protested against Chansiri during the season, including on the opening weekend of the campaign away at Leicester.

Travelling supporters did not take their seats at the King Power until the fifth minute – prompting applause from their rival fans.

And with the backlog, it meant many of the followers did not see their goal – in the 26th minute.

Wednesday sit 23rd in the Championship table with just one point from four matches.

That came following a 2-2 draw with Wrexham.

However, they returned to losing ways on Saturday with a 2-0 defeat at home to Swansea.

But while Chansiri is despised at Hillsborough, Textor is very unpopular at Selhurst Park, too.

Textor offloaded his 43 per cent stake of the Eagles to Woody Johnson earlier in the summer.

But it was Textor’s involvement in the club – despite his fractured relationship with Steve Parish – that prevented Palace playing in the Europa League due to his ownership of Lyon.
