CONOR BENN opened the door to a trilogy fight with Chris Eubank Jr by admitting: “Money talks”.
Benn initially claimed his triumph on Saturday had closed the chapter on a long-standing family feud with the Eubanks.
The sons of 1990s rivals Nigel and Chris Sr have a win each after Benn, 29, avenged April’s defeat.
Impressive Benn floored Eubank, 36, twice in the 12th round at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Asked about a third cash-grab bout, Benn said: “Money always talks. But how much money do you need?”
The saga started 35 years ago with Benn’s dad Nigel losing to Chris Sr before they drew their rematch in 1993.
Instantly after Benn’s unanimous points decision was read out, he insisted the saga was over.
And in the bowels of Spurs’ home ground, Benn claimed his motivation came from his critics.
Benn added: “People thinking I cannot outbox him for 12 rounds, that was my fuel.
“I said there would be a systematic beatdown and I knew from the first right hand I landed.

“The rights and jabs and hooks to the body broke him down. I told him it was easy work.”
Eubank Jr looked a weak shadow of his dominance from the first bout between the pair.
In the winter of his career — with twin boys on the way — Eubank Jr had no business boiling himself down to 160lb again.
The original April clash was such a £20million barnstormer that the rerun always felt likely to short-change fans.
Afterwards, Eubank hinted that a mysterious problem behind the scenes wrecked his dream of a second victory.
But despite the arrival of two babies next summer — and his family leading the iconic Eubank vs Benn legacy at 2-1 and a draw — he would not rule out another rematch.
Eubank Jr said: “I need to heal and deal with what I am dealing with first.
“Then I can start thinking about my path in the sport. I’m alive and happy and I am a fighter.”
