Colombian President Behaves Badly and Has Been Officially Disinvited From Future Visits – HotAir

Gustavo Petro, the Left-wing former mayor of Bogotá, founder/leader of the Humane Party, and since 2022, Colombia’s president, is a malevolent clown.

He is also a firebrand with a fat mouth who doesn’t have any problem calling his minions to arms in that classic, fiery, revolutionary Latin American fashion, which can also help knock rivals out of the game.

It has time and again.

In June, a serious conservative threat to Petro’s socialist reign was shot in the head by a 15-year-old assailant at a campaign stop.

Miguel Uribe succumbed to his ghastly wound on August 11, and no question in anyone’s mind from where the trigger being pulled was directed

Petro has blood on his hands. For three years, he pointed the finger at Miguel Uribe, put the target on his back… and the mafia did the rest.

Coincidence? No! It’s the Pact of the Pillory in action: a plan for the mafia to put a president in office in 2026… just like in Escobar’s times.

⚠ Democracy is at stake.

For Miguel. For freedom.

Let’s not let the mafia win!

Petro runs Colombia like a fiefdom and is rumored to be an unapologetic, cocaine snorting degenerate.

Tony Montana with his own country.

…Petro has been married thrice and almost all the unions have sparked some controversy or the other. However, the most scandalous of all has been Petro’s alleged extramarital relations with a transwoman, triggered by a viral video and a photo that raised doubts of the two being in an illicit relationship. Here’s everything to know about Petro’s love life and the tale of his three marriages.

He and Trump don’t see eye to eye, as you might imagine, and the recent UN General Assembly gathering gave the Colombian attention whore an opening. He now had a chance to be seen in New York City, as opposed to only in scandal magazines in Europe.

Petro thought he’d make a splash of it.

…In the midst of an intoxication from alcohol, drugs, and antidepressants, Petro praised and exalted “socialism” of Stalin, the communist dictator who killed more people than Hitler. Thank goodness everyone left the room at the UN when he started speaking! 😂😂😂

Not only in the diplomatic sense, but shoot – it’s New York.

It’s the Big Apple.

Grab yourself a microphone, your anti-Semitic besties, like Roger Waters, and take your keffiyeh-wearing besties out to a corner to do some street screaming like all the Columbia University kids do.

Oh, some fun, right?

Now, to be honest, this isn’t exactly what one expects in terms of decorum as far as visiting dignitaries go. I mean, even Emmanuel Macron was polite enough not to make a fuss when stuck in city traffic. After calling Trump to see if he could catch a huss and break the NYPD security roadblock for the little Frenchman, Macron wound up good-naturedly hoofing it several NYC blocks when Trump told him to take a hike.

If you are a guest, even as the self-important president of a foreign country, behave yourself.

Gustavo Petro missed that etiquette class.

Besides squawking with the rest of the Hamas apologists through the handheld loudspeaker, the President of Colombia called for the United States Armed Forces to disobey the orders of their commander in chief and rise in rebellion.

Oh. HELLO.

Petro said: “I ask all soldiers in the United States Army not to point their rifles at humanity. Disobey Trump’s order! Obey the order of humanity!

I’m not sure Petro thought this out. No one would be allowed to sing that song for long on a street corner in Bogotá, and I’m not sure what gave him the idea it would fly here from his gnarly butt.

And it didn’t.

Rubio put the wheels in motion to yank Petro’s visa.

The United States said it would revoke Colombian President Gustavo Petro’s visa after he took to New York’s streets on Friday in a pro-Palestinian demonstration and urged U.S. soldiers to disobey President Donald Trump’s orders.

“We will revoke Petro’s visa due to his reckless and incendiary actions,” the State Department posted on X.

Petro, addressing a crowd of pro-Palestinian protesters outside the U.N. headquarters in Manhattan, called for a global armed force with the priority to liberate Palestinians, adding, “This force has to be bigger than that of the United States.”

“That’s why from here, from New York, I ask all the soldiers of the army of the United States not to point their guns at people. Disobey the orders of Trump. Obey the orders of humanity,” Petro said in Spanish.

Reuters could not immediately confirm whether Petro was still in New York. His office and Colombia’s foreign ministry did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

At first, Petro tried some bluster but he picked the wrong fight with a guy who doesn’t give two hoots about what a place with ‘values’ like the UN thinks of him.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro accused President Trump on Saturday of violating “founding principles” of the United Nations after the U.S. State Department announced it will revoke the Colombian president’s visa.

The big picture: The Trump administration believes Petro, a left-leaning leader who’s an ally of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, wants to pick a fight with the U.S. president ahead of the Colombia’s presidential elections next year.

  • Petro is barred from reelection but and the U.S. does not want one of his allies to succeed. The U.S. position: it opposes Petro and supports the Colombian people.

And then he went straight to sniffling.

I DON’T CARE

The Colombian president, Gustavo Petro, has dismissed the US decision to revoke his visa and accused Washington of violating international law over his criticism of Israel’s war in Gaza.

“I no longer have a visa to travel to the United States. I don’t care. I don’t need a visa … because I’m not only a Colombian citizen but a European citizen, and I truly consider myself a free person in the world,” Petro said on social media on Saturday.

“Revoking it for denouncing genocide shows the US no longer respects international law,” he added in a post on X.

Heh. Guess who doesn’t care either?

…When asked if its block will bar Petro from attending United Nations gatherings in the future, the State Department pointed back to its tweet from Friday night.
