CO-OP has announced a major change that could help shoppers save up to £80 a year.
The retailer revealed that weekly personalised offers can now be used online when customers shop through its website.

Previously, these popular deals were only available to redeem in physical stores.
The move means members will be able to redeem tailored discounts while shopping online, potentially saving up to £80 over the course of a year.
Co-op members currently receive weekly personalised offers based on their shopping habits, with deals often including discounts on brands and products they regularly buy.
Until now, those offers could only be redeemed in physical stores.
Under the new update, the same deals can now be applied when shopping online.
The change also means money added to a member’s card – such as prizes, rewards or promotional bonuses – can be redeemed online as well as in store.
Customer Director Rachel Halter said the change was designed to give members better value when shopping digitally.
“Our data shows that 88% of our online shoppers are Co-op members, so bringing this popular weekly member perk online allows us to deliver even more value to those who own our business,” Rachel said.
Last year, the supermarket chain increased the number of personalised offers available to members by 67%, taking the total to more than 700 deals.
The retailer is aiming to significantly expand its membership base, with plans to grow to eight million members by 2030.
