A CNN guest face-planted after attempting to perform a backflip live on-air.
The flub from a Savannah Bananas baseball coach Robert Anthony Cruz left CNN News Central hosts Kate Bolduan and John Berman briefly at a loss on Thursday.
The two looked on in shock as the accident played out in real time.
‘Oh, Jesus,’ Bolduan could be heard saying as the player braced for the stunt.
Silence followed as Cruz landed spread-eagle on the floor, leaving the hosts stunned.
Both grinned, however, as he quickly recovered.
‘That never happens,’ he told them both.
The segment then cut away from Cruz, leaving Berman to improvise.
