CHRISTINE McGuinness has opened up about her ADHD battle while admitting that she ‘can’t control’ what she says.
Back in 2022, Christine revealed she had been diagnosed with ADHD just months after learning she has autism.
On Saturday, Christine got candid about her ADHD battle and the medications she takes.
She also spoke about how she is “unable to regulate my nervous system, control my mouth, or put up with people’s BS”.
Taking to Instagram to share an update on her ADHD diagnosis and how she’s coping, Christine made several admissions.
“AuDHDiaries. 3 weeks off my second type of ADHD meds – 3 days into my third type of ADHD meds,” she said in the caption.

She then added: “I’m neither for or against meds – it’s personal choice and you have to do whatever is right for you.
“I’ve been on them since early last year and I’m still unsure!
“Mainly because off the side effects, I had to come off them but I’m trying one last time.”
Christine added: “Praying they work because although it was lovely feeling like ‘ME’ again (unmedicated me – I miss you already).
“I’m unable to regulate my nervous system, control my mouth, or put up with people’s BS (joking.. kind of) but I know I will one day.. Round 3.”
In the snaps she shared alongside the caption, Christine looked amazing as she donned a sexy outfit comprising of a black bodysuit, jeans and jacket.
Over the top of the slew of snaps, Christine shared glimpses of how ADHD impacts her on a daily basis.
Some of the text read: “Craves connection, but also alone time,” as well as: “Socialising is basically cardio”.
She also wrote how if she’s invited to something, she will overthink it and eventually cancel last minute.
Christine also penned: “AUDHD: It’s not confusion – it’s creative chaos with a side of overthinking.”
Fans flocked to the comments section to support Christine.
“Hope you find the right balance! I have such a love hate relationship with mine. Some days I love the calm and others I miss the chaos,” penned one person.
“What [an] amazing woman,” added a second.
While a third wrote: “Love your honest account on things, I’m a woman with ADHD and your posts make me feel a little more normal!!”
The term, AUDHD, which Christine used in her post, is used to describe individuals with both Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
The conditions often overlap and interact in complex ways.
