CHRISTIAN PULISIC has released a 22-word statement amid sensational reports he is dating actress Sydney Sweeney.
The former Chelsea star, 27, and the blonde bombshell, 28, were linked as an item by Italian media on Saturday.
SunSport had revealed in August that Sweeney has been inundated with DMs from football stars since becoming a Hollywood A-lister.
And Gazzetta dello Sport claimed she had started dating Pulisic following her split from producer Jonathan Davino earlier this year.
However, AC Milan forward Pulisic is believed to be seeing golfer Alexa Melton.
He took to social media on Sunday rubbishing reports of a blossoming romance with Sweeney.
And Pulisic made his true feelings known in a statement comprised of 22 words.
He said: “Also please stop with the made up stories about my personal life.
“Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives.”
As SunSport revealed earlier this year, Sweeney has received numerous DMs from top footballers in the Premier League, as well as multi-millionaires from around the world.

A source said: “Her Insta DMs are packed with messages from famous men trying to get in contact with her.
“It’s mostly guys playing for teams like Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.
“They offer her trips to Europe to see them and take her on a date, but she’s not the kind of person who does that.
“Some of them are very insistent and have even tried to find her address to send her flowers, but she always refuses.
“I’d say more than 100 people from celebs to millionaires or very rich people from the Middle East and Asia, contact her every month.”
