Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn scorecards revealed as fuming fans blast judge for ‘worst scoring ever’

BOXING fans were left fuming with the scorecards from Conor Benn’s dominant win over Chris Eubank.

The pair continued their multi-generational feud with a massive fight at Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Saturday.

Benn, 29, raced into an early lead as he pushed the pace early in the fight.

And he never let his foot off the pedal, controlling his older opponent throughout virtually the entire fight.

An all-out round in which Benn knocked Eubank down twice capped off what the entire stadium understood would be a sweeping victory for the younger man.

But despite him receiving the win via unanimous decision, that was not the exact story that the scorecards told.

While all judges agreed on who had won the bout, there were large differences over the margin by which that win arrived.

Two judges seemed in step, grading the bout 107-119 and 108-118 respectively.

But a third called a closer match between the pair at 110-116, and even gave Eubank four rounds in the middle of the bout, while the other judges’ cards gave him three between them.

Fans were left baffled by the assessment, with one saying on X: “116-110 has to be one of the worst scorecards ever posted.”

Another fan asked: “Who gave Eubank those rounds?”

While a third groaned: “Can’t believe Eubank was given 4 rounds by one judge.”

But the margin of his victory in one judge’s mind won’t affect Benn as he celebrates his statement win.

He had a short and sweet response for his critics following the result: “Everyone who says I can’t box, put that in your pipe and smoke it.”

He also joked towards his father after the result: “I got one on you Nige!”

Sadly for fans of both Benn and Eubank, the Ilford star shut down discussion of a trilogy fight, saying: “This is the end of the Benn Eubank saga, this ends here.”
