CHELSEA have got plenty of business to do before the January transfer window slams shut.
So far, the Blues have recalled Aaron Anselmino from his loan at Borussia Dortmund and signed Yisa Alao from Sheffield Wednesday.
The club has also sold Leo Castledine to Middlesbrough, while sorting out the Raheem Sterling dilemma.
SunSport Chelsea Reporter Lloyd Canfield has taken a look at the work to be done at Stamford Bridge…
INCOMINGS
In terms of incomings, things have been pretty quiet at Chelsea, with the club preferring to use their in-house options to solve any issues.
It’s no secret that a centre back is top of Chelsea’s list.
Even though Anselmino has been recalled, the club’s main target remains Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet.
The French club want a club record fee for their star 19-year-old, beating out the £55.5m paid by Man City for Jeremy Doku.
Jacquet’s preference is to join Chelsea amid interest from Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
The club are also looking at a range of secret midfield options after cooling interest in Douglas Luiz, who has moved to Aston Villa from Juventus.

N’Golo Kante has been one of those rumoured to be available for a return to the club.
But Chelsea may not opt for that type of signing if Romeo Lavia can stay fit.
The Belgian returned to training this week, and uploaded a picture to his Instagram story stating “We are back.”
At Chelsea there has been a long-standing interest in Morgan Rogers at Aston Villa.
But any move of that kind of stature would be made in the summer, when the club are expected to be busier.
Recruits for the summer window have already joined Chelsea, with Geovany Quenda, Mike Penders and Emanuel Emegha among those already signed up and ready to make their move – if a deal is struck for Jeremy Jacquet, he will join that list.
OUTGOINGS
This is where the Blues are expected to be busier.
Raheem Sterling has left the club at long last, and Kendry Paez is joining River Plate on a season-long loan deal, Facundo Buonanotte has joined Leeds, and Castledine moved to Middlesbrough.
An exit of Axel Disasi is also expected, with multiple clubs interested in the Frenchman who has been brought back into first-team training after impressing in his exile with the u21’s.
Tyrique George‘s situation is still up in the air.
The promising winger has been quietly good for Chelsea since graduating from their Cobham academy setup, and has performed brilliantly for Lee Carsley’s young lions.
But, with the signings of Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho, as well as a lack of Conference League football this season, opportunities have been few and far between for the talented winger.
A summer deadline day move to Fulham collapsed for George in the last window, and he’s still looking for opportunities away from Stamford Bridge now with clubs across Europe interested in his signature.
David Datro Fofana is also still in search of a club and on Chelsea’s books after being recalled from Karagumruk and apologising to Blues fans – Anderlecht and LAFC both hold an interest in signing the Ivorian striker.
In wider BlueCo operations, the idea has been floated of Aaron Anselmino moving to Strasbourg, and the Blues instead recalling Afcon champ Mamadou Sarr to Stamford Bridge.
Liam Rosenior claimed this week he will be having a chat with the young Argentine defender on Thursday or Friday this week to discuss his situation at the club.
