CHELSEA hope Cole Palmer will return for their huge clashes with Barcelona and Arsenal.
Palmer has not played since late September following a groin injury and has only made four appearances so far this season.
Boss Enzo Maresca says the Blues are still having to manage his recovery on a day-by-day basis, but hope he will be back soon after the international break.
Chelsea travel to Burnley on November 22 before hosting Barcelona on the Tuesday and Arsenal on the Sunday.
Asked if Palmer will return for the Spanish giants, Maresca said: “We hope so, but with Cole we try to plan, we try to schedule at the beginning, then we need to review that.
“In this moment we go day by day with Cole. He’s not taking any sessions with the team.
“I would like to have Cole here tomorrow! I would like to have Cole early.
“I said many times that we are a better team with Cole. Unfortunately for us, he’s out, he’s injured, but for sure we want him back very soon.”
Meanwhile, Palmer himself shared an X-rated motivational message while giving an update on his recovery from injury.
