CHELSEA fans are convinced that next season football will be blue after seeing what loanee Geovany Quenda did in the Champions League.
Quenda, 18, completed a deal to sign for the Blues from Sporting Lisbon in March for £44million.
However, he has remained in Portugal, where he was first ushered into the team by Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim, to further his development.
And Quenda, who already enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, has left Chelsea fans eager to see him in action at Stamford Bridge.
It comes after the exciting wide player scored a mesmerising goal for Sporting in their 4-1 win over Kairat in the Champions League.
Quenda had just assisted team-mate Alisson Santos in scoring Sporting’s third goal against their Kazakhstani rivals in the 67th minute.
But just a minute later, a big switch of the ball from left to right saw Quenda receive the ball in acres of space.
After bringing the ball down, Quenda sized up the player who had come over to mark him.
He danced one way and then the other to leave the defender befuddled as a second came over to help.
But Quenda then skipped inside past the stricken Kairat stars before placing a shot into the bottom corner of the net.
