Charlie Kirk assassin did NOT act alone and there is a link to Trump shooting in Butler, Steve Bannon claims

Steven Bannon is ‘not buying the script’ surrounding prosecutors’ case alleging Tyler Robinson shot Charlie Kirk without help – and wants investigators to explore links to the attempted assassination of Donald Trump

Utah prosecutors on Tuesday released text messages between 22-year-old Tyler Robinson and his transgender lover Lance Twiggs.

In the text messages, Robinson admits to murdering Kirk at Utah Valley University last week.

Robinson revealed that his motive for shooting Kirk was because he ‘had enough of his hatred.’

Meanwhile, former Trump adviser Bannon does not believe the text messages tell the full picture of the horrifying events surrounding Kirk’s assassination.

‘I’m particularly not buying those text messages, it just seems too stilted, too much like a script—actually, like a bad script.

So we got to get to the bottom of it,’ Bannon said on his ‘War Room’ podcast.

‘You’ve got to get to the bottom of these groups, you’ve got to get to the bottom of Antifa, you’ve got to see if there’s any connections to Butler (where Thomas Crooks attempted to killed Trump on July 13, 2024, in Pennsylvania).’

‘We’ve got a whole lot of work to do, and no, I’m not buying the script that was in the text messages.’

Robinson, who was charged with Kirk’s murder on Tuesday, faces the death sentence if found guilty.

In the immediate aftermath of Kirk’s death, Robinson did not express guilt for the conservative activist’s death, but rather was worried about losing his grandfather’s rifle.

‘You just murdered the most important young person in the conservative movement, you shot him down like a dog, and you’re telling me you’re texting, ‘Dad’s going to be very upset I lost grandpa’s rifle.’ Are you kidding me?,’ Bannon shouts. ‘You expect me to believe that!?’

‘How did the guy have time to write a sonnet? How did he worry about ‘Dad’s really going to be upset about grandpa’s rifle?”

‘Dude, I think your father may be upset that you shot a man in cold blood in front of the world,’ Bannon concluded. ‘I am absolutely not buying this.’

Media figures across the political spectrum have called on the Trump administration to provide a transparent and full review of the details surrounding Kirk’s assassination.

President Donald Trump and other senior members of his administration, blamed the ‘radical left’ in the immediate aftermath of Kirk’s death.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox claimed that Robinson was allegedly motivated to murder Kirk in cold blood because of his ‘leftist ideology.’

FBI Director Kash Patel said the agency was reviewing a Discord group chat, where Robinson allegedly admitted to murdering Kirk.

Patel noted that all members of Robinson’s online chat will be investigated.

Bannon has also revealed the administration is considering a variety of executive actions, including labeling Antifa a domestic terrorist organization.

‘The biggest thing is to broaden the assassination investigation from a single murder to the broader conspiracy,’ Bannon said.

‘If we are going to go to war, let’s go to war.’
