Claudia Winkleman‘s Channel 4 quiz show One Question has just been axed by the BBC following her sensational departure from Strictly Come Dancing.
News of its removal from our TV screens was revealed by the show’s website, which stated that One Question would not be returning for a third season.

The premise of the show read: ‘Claudia Winkleman hosts a general knowledge quiz show where pairs of contestants must answer just one question correctly to win £100k.
‘But that one question comes with 20 potential answers – and only one is correct.’
Having first aired in 2022, One Question last aired in February and featured a couple gamble a staggering £100,000.

Claudia admitted that she ‘could not cope’ as the quiz players deliberated between 16 possible answers in a bid to scoop the jackpot.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Channel 4 for more information about One Question’s cancellation.
Now that Claudia has been freed up a little more, the BBC have reportedly turned their attention to Claudia’s new talk show programme, which is currently untitled.
With an expected start date of March, much like other high profile talkshows like The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV, it will see The Traitors’ host sit down with a number of celebrity guests.
A TV insider told The Sun: ‘If ever proof were needed that Claudia is now very much the BBC’s golden girl following the huge success of The Celebrity Traitors, then this is it.
‘Given that Strictly started in September, it means that by the time her new chat show concludes she will have been on our screens almost constantly for eight months.
‘And they’re some of the biggest TV successes the BBC has ever seen – with the chat show expected to enjoy equally huge ratings when it debuts.
‘Work is hugely picking up pace, although the Beeb have yet to fully form the plan and announce it, though they’re expected to reveal more details next month.’

News of the programme’s asking comes after Claudia and Tess Daly sensationally quit their long-standing presenting roles on Strictly Come Dancing last month.
Claudia and Tess, 56, will exit Strictly at the end of the current series, with their final show airing on Christmas Day during the show’s special.
They both had previously said how they made a pact to leave the show together, rather than either remaining and being paired with a new presenter.
Now, in a previous interview, Claudia shared exactly how they both came up with the idea of waltzing off the dance floor.
They hatched the plan to quit whilst they were at the top, enjoying a pizza together.
Speaking to The Mirror, Claudia refuted the suggestion fans wanted her and Tess on the show forever.

She said: ‘I don’t think anybody would want that.
‘I am sure people watching would go “Can that small orange creature just shuffle off?”
‘Tess and I will leave at the same time. We made that pact over pizza. I had pepperoni.’
Speaking to the camera as they announced their Strictly exits, Claudia began: ‘There have been some rumblings and we want you to hear this from us.’
Tess chimed in: ‘We have news, after 21 wonderfully joyful years on Strictly, we have decided that the time is right to step aside and pass over the baton.’
‘The very sparkly baton!’ Claudia laughed, before turning to her co-star and pal to add: ‘You’ve been here since the beginning.’
Tess replied, pointing to Claudia: ‘With Bruce, lovely Bruce [Forsyth], and that was over two decades ago but a lot of the time has been with you.
‘It’s been a huge part of our lives since our children were literally babes in arms, and now they’re adults, and I think genuinely we have cherished every second.’
