THE CHAMPIONSHIP clash between Queens Park Rangers and West Brom was stopped because it appeared a supporter was taken ill in the stands.
Emergency staff tended to the patient on the touchline in front of the Stanley Bowles Stand at Loftus Road.

QPR were bringing the ball out of defence close to the incident and players immediately flagged for help.
Referee Gavin Ward suspended the match and the patient received treatment.
The players waited to resume.
The game was stopped in the 50th minute and held up for around five minutes.
The patient, who appeared to be male, was taken off in a wheelchair and the game resumed.
This comes after another tragic fan incident during the abandoned Championship clash between Charlton Athletic and Portsmouth at The Valley.
Charlton revealed the devastating news that a supporter who fell ill during the match has died.
The game was suspended after 12 minutes as a medical team rushed to a Charlton fan’s aid in the Covered End.
