Celebs Go Dating star ‘gives away’ she’s signed up for show BEFORE cast reveal

A CELEBS Go Dating star has given away she’s signed up for show before the full cast is revealed.

The Sun first revealed, back in November, that Aussie star Lucinda Light, 44, had her eyes on the hit E4 reality show and that bosses were keen to snap her up for the show.

Now, Lucinda has taken to Instagram and posted a snap of herself with her suitcase and waved goodbye – which appears to confirm our story.

The MAFS star captioned the image: “Bye for now beautiful Australia~ I love you so much.

“I’m leaving for London today on the adventure of my life! It’s a most outrageous project that I can’t wait to share…I’ll be at it for the next 3 months & back on Aussie soil April for a bit.

“I’m a bit sad leaving my favorite time of the year, summer, on the Great Ocean Rd and family – heading into -4 degree weather but hey… all in the name of working hard and playing hard.

“See you on the other side old Blighty which is more and more becoming my second home.”

Fans were thrilled by the news and one wrote: “You were mine & my partner’s absolute fave of all time from MAFS! The most beautiful soul ever!!!”

A second said: “I love all this for you! What a wonderful manifestation you have made and so fitting for your dreams.”

While a third said: “Hope you are going to bless the UK with your gorgeousness on our screens again Lucinda! Bring your hot water bottle, it is literally freezing though.”

Lucinda starred on MAFS Australia last year, marrying 52-year-old business owner Timothy Smith.

The pair failed to make their marriage work and decided to leave the process after failing to strike up a romantic connection.

They initially remained friends but Tim went on to unfollow Lucinda on Instagram, claimed she had let the fame get to her head, and was now “a little different to who he had been married to during filming.”

Lucinda responded by saying that she’s sorry if she hurt him, adding: “I only wish Tim all the love and success”.

Prior to the series, she told 9Entertainment: “I’ve had pretty colourful relationship background.

“I’ve had eight relationships, I’ve been a serial monogamer, I suppose you could say. I’ve dated a woman, I’ve given [polyamorous relationships] a go – I’ve tried it all.

“I’m such a lover, I love being in love. But I am really ready for my person now, and I entered the experiment ready to share my world.”

When her series of MAFS aired in the UK she instantly became a fan favourite on these shores.

She recently hosted MAFS UK: It’s Official! – the weekly podcast for the latest series of the show.

Lucinda said of the role:  “I’m so honoured to be a part of MAFS UK this year and I’m absolutely delighted to be hosting the weekly debrief for all the MAFS fans – we’re going to have the most amazing time!

“I can’t wait to meet the new brides and grooms, get to know Charlene and Paul and catch up with the gorgeous Mel.”

It followed her presenting role on new reality show, The Honesty Box, with Vicky Pattison.

Set in a stunning villa in Cyprus known as Truetopia, singletons (aka Truetopians) were put to the test.

There was one simple rule: tell the truth about everything when you’re summoned to the AI Honesty Box.
