Celebrity Traitors thrown into chaos as ENTIRE FINALE leaks online 24 hours before airing – and winner is revealed by fans

Celebrity Traitors has been thrown into chaos after the ENTIRE final episode leaked online 24 hours before it hit screens – and the winner was leaked by fans.

The BBC One show will air its tense finale tonight (November 6), which sees Traitors Alan Carr and Cat Burns, and Faithful Nick Mohammed, Joe Marler and David Olusoga, battle it out for the prize money.

With just one episode remaining of the series, which broke viewing records for the BBC and became the most-watched TV event of the year on its launch, the mammoth prize is up for grabs.

But, in a major faux pas for the series, Canadian streaming site Crave uploaded the entire episode on Wednesday evening, allowing hundreds of people to stream it online.

It means that a number of viewers have already discovered the result, which Daily Mail has opted not to spoil for fans waiting for the finale.

Canadian fans took to social media and online forum Reddit to discuss the episode, including the mystery winner, in the hours after the episode was dropped.

One viewer told The Sun: ‘I have been watching Celebrity Traitors through Crave all season long. Having not realised that the finale was airing tomorrow [in the UK], I logged on this afternoon and found it available.

‘It was only brought to my attention part-way through by a friend outside of Canada that the finale isn’t scheduled to air tomorrow [Thurs in the UK].’

The episode is said to have been taken down from the streaming service an hour and a half after it was uploaded, but many fans had already watched it.

One fan commented: ‘It was really good. Didn’t think this would be the ending!’

Discussing the leak on Reddit, another penned: ‘Stay away from Traitors news and communities if you don’t want to get spoiled!’

Viewers of the series in New Zealand have also already had a chance to watch the finale early, with the series streaming on ThreeNow, where it airs in New Zealand.

In response, another fan penned on the forum site: ‘I saw part one (the round table) in NZ this afternoon but they have since pulled it…’

Daily Mail has contacted the BBC for comment.

The finale of the BBC One series will reveal who has won the series with a bumper episode that has been extended to be 70 minutes long.

The famous faces have been battling for the up-to-£100,000 prize money for their chosen charities throughout the series, which first aired in October.

The finale will be followed by an extended edition of The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked on BBC Two, as host Ed Gamble is joined by host Claudia Winkleman and the final five to open up about their time in Ardross Castle.

In October, the hit series, which drew in more than 11million viewers for its launch, was hit by a huge leak with insiders reportedly revealing who wins the show to friends.

A source told The Daily Star: ‘Everyone involved with the show agreed to stay quiet, but the show has a traitor in its midst. They let slip who wins and the information has spread.’

They added: ‘It’s vital that key details about the series don’t get out. Everyone is hoping the leak stops telling people who wins as it could ruin the series for viewers.’

The Celebrity Traitors concludes tonight (November 6) at 9pm on BBC One.
