Celebrity Traitors fans have heaped praise on the finale episode’s ‘cinematic’ challenge, as they compared it to James Bond and a Michael Bay film.
The eagerly-anticipated final episode of the hit BBC show, saw the remaining five contestants, Alan Carr, Joe Marler, Cat Burns, Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga, given their last chance to add to the prize pot.
And the show seemed determined to go out with a bang, with the stars tasked with finding keys on a moving steam train to unlock boxes with bags of cash inside, before it exploded.
As host Claudia Winkleman told the group about what they had to do and warned them of the explosives on the train, the celebrities couldn’t hold back their nerves.
With only 20 minutes to find all the keys, get the money bags and get off the train, the team raced into action.
Moving through each carriage, the five had to crack padlock codes, search through barrels of rocks and untangle chains from around a coffin.

Joe was left open-mouthed as Nick said: ‘I adore you, honestly I didn’t believe it but you voting for Cat is what sealed it, but I love you.’
Alan persuaded Nick and David that he was a Faithful right up until the last minute.
The hapless comedian revealed his true identity and burst into tears after a tense firepit saw Faithful Joe banished.
Alan said ‘all the lying and treachery’ had torn him apart: ‘I was awful, I had no poker face but here I am. Maybe I do exaggerate a showbiz story now and again. But to just lie to people’s faces, it was tough’.
At the roundtable, Alan and Cat went for David, who had to defend himself as Joe questioned if Traitor Jonathan Ross gave a parting hint by writing David’s name on his board before he was banished.
But Joe, Nick and David had secretly clubbed together to vote for Cat, meaning she was the one sent packing.
However, the singer said: ‘I wouldn’t change a thing. I got to the final. I’m proud of myself.’
