A CELEBRITY Big Brother finalist screamed in disbelief as their Coronation Street co-star was crowned the winner.
Viewers watched as the final six housemates faced the public vote one last time.
Corrie legend Jack P. Shepherd emerged as the winner – with Danny Beard as runner-up.
Taking to Instagram, the actor’s pal – and former CBB finalist – Colson Smith shared a video of him watching the result.
Once Jack’s victory was revealed, Colson initially seemed stunned before repeating: “He’s won it!”
Colson finished third in last year’s CBB – finishing behind David Potts and Nikita Kuzmin.
And as Jack spoke to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, they brought up this comparison.
Will told him: “Well you’re above Colson, who only came third last year.”
Jack replied: “If I got third, I was amazed because then I’d be level with him.
“Second, I was over the moon and then…. the big one.”
Meanwhile, other Coronation Street stars have shared their congratulations on Instagram.
Andy Whyment wrote in his story: “Get in there @jackpshepherd88.”
While Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, shared: “Absolutely buzzing @jackpshepherd88. Never in doubt.”
One thrilled fan wrote on X: “Yaaaaaaay!!! Our favourite tea drinker Jack has won!!!! Someone give him a brew.”
Another shared: “Congrats Jack! Dark horse and dry sense of humour has won it.”
However, others weren’t as satisfied with outcome as they shared on social media.
One penned: “This was made possible just by Corrie fans, just so gutted for @thedannybeard.”
Another said: “Nah Jack did not deserve that win. Contributed zero to the house.”
