Chris Hughes and Chesney Hawkes have been evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house in sixth and fifth place.

The Love Island star, 32, was told by AJ Odudu and Will Best that he would be the first to leave the house during the live final on Friday night.

Then, just moments later the One And Only hitmaker, 53, was revealed to be in fifth place, following behind Chris.

As he was interviewed by Will and AJ, Chesney emotionally quipped: ‘I’m trying not to cry, I keep seeing my wife.’

Meanwhile, reflecting on his experience, Chris explained: ‘It’s like a relentless environment. When you wake up in the morning you’re on it until you go to bed. It was an amazing experience and I’ll never forget it. All six of us are so close.’

When quizzed about his friendship with JoJo Siwa, Chris said: ‘I know what I’m like as a human being and I know how I bond to people.

‘I want to not take life too seriously. JoJo was like a pure rock to me, she was someone I can have fun with and it was beautiful friendship.’

Over the last few weeks, the duo have raised eyebrows over their ‘flirty’ friendship in the house.

Getting emotional, he hinted that the Dance Moms star reminded him of an ex-girlfriend.

Chris said: ‘She reminded me a lot of… the thing that fascinated me the most about her was what she’s been through as a teenager and that’s similar to what my ex-girlfriend went through.’

‘From a friendship point of view, of course I love her.’

‘Why would I not want to get on with people? Everyone will naturally bond to somebody. It was just a friendship that was only going to get stronger.’

Remaining in the house as the live final unfolds are JoJo Siwa, Jack P Shepherd, Donna Preston, and Danny Beard.

Throughout the night, the vote will keep being frozen to evict the housemate with the fewest votes, with the viewers then being given five new free votes each time.

The remaining five finalists had an emotional last dinner together on Thursday night, where they talked about their memories in the house, before enjoying a disco.

During their speeches JoJo described Chris as ‘a vital part’ of her life that she didn’t know was missing, with Chris describing the Dance Moms star as ‘his person’.

Meanwhile, Danny said it was ‘amazing’ to conquer the experience as himself and as ‘Daniel’.
